Guyra Historical Museum
Explore more than a century of Guyra district history in the town’s former shire council chambers.
Guyra Historical Museum is housed in the original Guyra Shire Council Chambers, built in 1909. The museum opened in 1988 and now holds thousands of objects, photographs and local-history records. Displays cover domestic and rural life, local families, community organisations and notable events, with unusual objects including early machinery, tools, household equipment, theatre equipment and historical collections.Opening Hours
