About the Association
The Guyra and Community Progress Association was formed in 2022 by residents who wanted to strengthen community connections and help Guyra continue to grow and improve.
Our purpose
We provide a positive, practical way for community members to share ideas, work together and represent local priorities. The Association supports projects that improve the town, encourage visitors, create community activity and build pride in Guyra and district.
What we do
- Develop and support community improvement projects.
- Organise and assist with local events and activities.
- Promote Guyra and the surrounding villages.
- Work with residents, businesses, community groups and Armidale Regional Council.
- Seek grants, sponsorship and community support for suitable projects.
- Provide a place for residents to raise ideas and contribute practical help.
Working together
The Association does not replace existing clubs, organisations or service providers. We aim to work alongside them, connect people and help worthwhile ideas move forward.
