Mother of Ducks Lagoon Nature Reserve protects a rare high-altitude wetland at the edge of Guyra. More than 80 bird species have been recorded around the lagoon, including migratory species. A birdwatching platform overlooks the eastern edge, reached by a roughly 300-metre walk across the golf course and boardwalk from the McKie Drive parking area. Visitors should watch for golfers and bring drinking water. Dogs and other pets are not permitted in the national park reserve.Opening Hours
